Happy New Year Sri Lankans!!!

Today is the traditional new year for us Sri Lankans, for some of you who don't know;

Sri Lanka is a small island in the middle of the indian ocean, earlier days it was known as the pearl of the indian ocean. we are a tropical land full of greenery. Our mother tongue is Sinhalese but we speak English as our second language. April New Year goes back to our roots in the Sri Lanka's history, its connected with fertility of the harvest, which has given birth to many customs and traditions. its also a wonderful holiday for all of us….

so i made this card to wish everyone (in sinhalese)

The card says
"Wishing a Happy New Year"
